The University of Science and Technology - Mohamed Boudiaf (USTO - MB) is one of the biggest universities in Algeria. It is located at the commune of Bir El Djir near the city of Oran in the Ouest of Algeria

The Optical and Photonics Algerian Society and  the University of Science and Technology of Oran - Mohamed-Boudiaf (USTO) are delighted to announce the organization of the 2nd International Conference OPAL (Optics and Photonics Algeria) 2018  from the 5th to the 7th May 2018
In September 1986, the city of Oran was endowed with a university center as important as the University of Oran Es-Senia but more modern and in Oran-East. Named at the beginning, the University of Science and Technology of Oran (USTO), it was designed by the Japanese architect Kenzō Tange and spread over an area of 89 ha. It was renamed the University of Science and Technology of Oran-Mohamed Boudiaf in memory of of the leader Mohamed Boudiaf
